Raju Menon’s strict adherence to the moral responsibility of Kreston Menon in assisting to solve or remove the social problems, has finally made QSZ, the international inspection company, which conducted site visits, staff interviews and record reviews, to declare Kreston Menon as a successful organization at complying with all measures of the ISO 26000 sustainability and social responsibility standards for the second consecutive year, after an intensive evaluation.
It’s under the dedicated leadership of Raju Menon, the Kreston Menon team has become the beacon of good corporate governance associating with Dubai Cares, the philanthropic organization working to improve children’s access to quality primary education in developing countries to create an awareness of the initiatives of Dubai Cares to the public.
Being encouraged by the longstanding motivation from Raju Menon, the Kreston Menon crew members have printed 45,000 copies of a co-branded calendar detailing the activities of Dubai Cares in various countries, and distributed this to all major business houses and government offices in the UAE. Raju Menon’s passion to serve people has been the push for Kreston Menon to set benchmarks for other companies not only in UAE but all over the world in the way corporate governance and social responsibilities are well handled and projected.
As part of the CSR initiatives for Kreston Menon’s corporate calendar for 2017, Raju Menon also took efforts for establishing a partnership with Kreston Menon and “My Community… A City for Everyone”. “My Community… A City for Everyone” is launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, transforming Dubai into a disability-friendly city by the year 2020.
The initiative’s objective is to support and strengthen the emirate’s efforts to empower persons with disabilities. Kreston Menon team, under the influential management of Raju Menon once again portrayed themselves as a good corporate citizen by distributing 50,000 copies of the desk top calendar featuring the different activities under this noble initiative.

Health Care
The foundation has plan to setup chain of pharmacies in Kozhikode District which provide expensive medicines (including imported ones) at no profit to people. The foundation in few cases will also provide the medicine at no cost to deserving people.
Women Empowerment
The Menon couple shares a passion for women empowerment. Their foundation has sponsored more than a thousand women from rural Kerala for a leadership and communications skill enhancement program. Aimed at driving women’s par ticipation in politics, the program enables women to contest in the Panchayat and local body elections where 50 per cent of seats are reserved for them.

The foundation provides onetime cash award over ten years to five best students in SSLC of the school he had studied in Kozhikode, Kerala.

Girija and Raju have been involved in lending their support to home for aged, a school for differently abled children and for the cause of education by providing scholarships to meritorious students. The Navajyothi Charitable Trust, placed at Calicut is a non-profitable organization which is intended to provide comprehensive care to children with acute developmental defects. It supports care-takers in increasing awareness among the general public and in carrying out research works in the area of developmental disabilities. Keeping this ultimate aim in mind, the trust has formed the Prasanthi Centre for Developmental defects which has been functioning in Calicut for the last twelve years.
